We seek to settle disputes as speedily and painlessly as possible but are not adverse to taking prompt Court action to achieve a quick and satisfactory resolution

We are acutely aware that Family and Matrimonial disputes mean a period of worry and upset and this is borne in mind when deciding the most effective course of action.

Types of work we carry out

We provide expertise in all areas of matrimonial and family law including divorce, separation, cohabitation, disputes involving children (these include contact with the absent parent, where and with whom the children are to reside and the removal of children from the jurisdiction)

We offer particular expertise in dealing with financial issues.

We also offer prompt legal advice and representation for emergency applications where there is domestic violence, removal of financial assets and enforcement of Court orders.

We offer expertise in handling civil disputes including commercial and consumer contracts, as well as landlord and tenant matters

We deal with all aspects of residential conveyancing, including sales of freeholds and leases.

Profile – Jeremy Chandler-Smith

Jeremy Chandler-Smith qualified in 1993 and has been practising in matrimonial and family law for nearly 12 years.

Broadly qualified, Jeremy attended Westminster Cathedral Choir School and Stonyhurst College. He studied Politics Philosophy and Economics at UEA and Law as a postgraduate in Bristol.
